Coconut Chutney with Coriander Leaves

Coconut chutney is a traditional side dish in south india.Perfect combination for hot and soft idlies, and crispy yummy ghee dosa...

Coconut scraping or desicated coconut3/4 cup
Coriander leaves1 fistful (or as per ur taste)
Ginger1 inch piece
TamarindA pinch
Green chillies2 per ur taste
SaltAs needed
Fried gram (pottukadalai)2 tblsp
Wateras required for grinding

To Season:
Mustard1 tsp
Urad dal & channa dal1 tsp
Curry leaves1 sprig
Oil2 tsp

1.Grind all the ingredients to a fine paste.

2.Season it with mustard,urad dal,channa dal and curry leaves.

To avoid getting slight bitter taste, first grind the ingredients coarsely with out coriander,then add coriander leaves at last,  grind it to a smooth paste.
