OATS DOSA

Eating oats in our  diet provides a lots of health benefits. usually we are using oats to make porridge, apart from that we can use oats , to make dosa, idli, and all food preparation. it helps to decrease your weight, control your blood pressure & blood sugar etc....

Today I share this oats rava dosa recipe, easy to make, tasty to eat & very healthy. it will not take so much time to prepare, so u can make it very quickly. i prepared this dosa along with coconut chutney & tomato chutney, It came out very well. so try it, enjoy the healthy recipe :-)

INGREDIENTS:

Oatmeal - 1 cup
Semolina/rava/sooji - 1/2 cup
Water - required amount
Green chillies - 1 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1 teaspoon crushed
Coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons chopped
Oil -  for dosa
Salt -  to taste
Jeera - 1 tsp
Capsicum - 2 tbsp
Onion - 1 cup finely chopped

PREPARATION:

Dry roast oats till aroma comes out. Allow it to cool and  grind as fine powder.
Soak the half portion of rava with adequate water for 15 Min's, grind as fine paste with little water. it helps for binding the batter. because i  didn't use any maida, rice & wheat flour,  so we need to do this process.
In a mixing bowl-add oats powder, rava & grounded rava paste, jeera, onion, green chillies, pepper powder, salt, capsicum, coriander leaves and mix well.Add water and make a thin batter like rava dosa batter.

Heat the dosa tawapour a laddle full of batter on the griddle from outside to inside  like we do for rava dosa's. pour a teaspoon of oil around the dosa
Allow it to cook on medium heat, till golden brown and turn over to other side.Wait for 3 -4 Min's, the other side to get cooked.

Serve these dosa’s  with any type of chutney.
